The project will mainly target the development of a sensor system for the early diagnosis of adult diseases based on biomarkers in urine.

The system is expected to help detect biomarkers in urine for full-time monitoring and early diagnosis of several adult diseases, including prostate cancer and diabetes.

Furthermore, the project will focus on the development of an in vitro point-of-care device that can measure different biomarkers using microelectromechanical system technology and optical technology.

The device will also leverage semiconductor technology for signal processing and artificial intelligence analysis technology.
