The company released the platform alongside the next-generation Pyxis Pro Automated Medication Dispensing Solution.

The BD Incada Platform was built on Amazon Web Services’ cloud infrastructure and leverages advanced AI technologies such as natural language analytics.
It can handle data from nearly three million BD devices, providing healthcare professionals with comprehensive visibility into medication inventory.
The system aims to help clinicians identify medication patterns, ensuring availability, reducing waste, and improving labour efficiency.
Users can employ natural language queries to receive AI-driven insights and analytics, which are accessible through customisable dashboards.

The BD Pyxis Pro Dispensing Solution enhances medication storage and access at the point of care.
Its flexible, stackable design increases storage capacity, accommodating both refrigerated and ambient medications.
This allows healthcare facilities to adapt to varying patient needs without requiring additional space.
The solution also includes improved security measures for controlled substance management and incorporates RFID badge scanning, illuminated bins and wireless barcode scanners to facilitate medication retrieval.
