Aprima Medical Software has completed the acquisition of Healthcare Data Solutions (HDS), a healthcare information services company based in Nebraska, US, for an undisclosed sum.
Pursuant to the agreement, the acquirer will offer full support to the target company’s customer base, which includes approximately 300 providers in 125 medical practices across 15 states.

The acquisition enables Omicia to access the target company’s population-specific reference genome and loss-less data compression technologies, using which it will create novel diagnostics and efficiently manage long-term genomic data storage.
