Aprima Medical Software has completed the acquisition of Healthcare Data Solutions (HDS), a healthcare information services company based in Nebraska, US, for an undisclosed sum.

Pursuant to the agreement, the acquirer will offer full support to the target company’s customer base, which includes approximately 300 providers in 125 medical practices across 15 states.

In a $380m deal, medical diagnostic company Accriva Diagnostics has been acquired by Werfen Life Group and its subsidiary Instrumentation Laboratory Company.

"Accriva Diagnostics, a point-of-care cardiovascular diagnostics blood testing provider, will become part of Instrumentation Laboratory."

Under the agreement, Accriva Diagnostics, a point-of-care cardiovascular diagnostics blood testing provider, will become part of Instrumentation Laboratory, while continuing its operations from its existing San Diego, California, facility.

Ethicon Endo-Surgery, a minimally-invasive medical devices manufacturer, has purchased Megadyne Medical Products, an electrosurgical equipment provider based in Utah, US.

The acquisition enables the acquirer to expand its portfolio with broad range of electrosurgical tools.
