Dental surgery needs manufacturer, Giovanni Ogna & Figli, has been acquired by Primex Pharmaceuticals, which aims to expand its local anaesthetics business to dental surgery products through the acquisition.
Pursuant to the deal, the acquirer will integrate the acquired company into its group and reorganise its commercial functions under the brand name, Giovanni Ogna et Figli S.r.l, which has become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Primex Pharma following the acquisition.

In a ¥54.1bn ($495.01m) deal, Mitsui intends to acquire a 22% stake in medical device manufacturer, Panasonic Healthcare Holdings. The funding for the acquisition will be provided by private equity firm, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co.
Upon completion of the acquisition, Mitsui will promote and support the sale of Panasonic’s devices to healthcare companies, in which it already has investments, and also to the overseas customer base.
