Researchers at the University of Leicester in the UK have developed a new wristwatch device to monitor blood pressure in collaboration with HealthStats, a Singaporean biotechnology company.
The device uses a sensor, worn on the wrist, to record pulse waves. Scientists can the use computerised mathematical modelling of the waves to read blood pressure close to the heart.
