Vancive Medical Technologies Adhesives and Material Technologies for Medical Applications

Vancive Medical Technologies™ develops innovative material technologies, including pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) coated tapes and converted components.
The company also manufactures completed devices to meet clients’ specifications.
Vancive’s research-driven approaches to development save you time and overcome potential obstacles. From research and development (R&D) to market-ready devices, the firm provides solutions for applications and technologies that are an integral part of products used every day in medical facilities worldwide.
Innovative solutions for materials, converted parts and finished devices
Vancive has decades of expertise in materials science and adhesive chemistry that allows it to offer a wide variety of medical-grade adhesive coated tapes, surgical drapes and wound care dressings.
The firm offers converted products in the form of surgical drapes and film solutions in a range of patented adhesive technologies, including WetStick™. This high-performing, gentle synthetic rubber adhesive is ideal for surgical products that require bordering, construction, fenestration and fixation.
In addition, Vancive’s negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) drapes have become a standard of care for this advanced therapeutic technique, which promotes healing in acute or chronic wounds.
Films, foams, hydrocolloids and non-woven fabrics for ostomy devices
Ostomy Flange solutions from Vancive provide a barrier that sticks to the skin around a stoma to protect it from stomal output.
Vancive’s speciality foams, films, hydrocolloids and non-woven fabrics are designed to provide effective seal and securement for ostomy devices.
The products ensure gentle application to peristomal skin where moisture management is essential. Typical applications include connection systems, skin contact flanges, filter mounting, ostomy bags and moldable rings.
Advanced and consumer wound care solutions
With a choice of hydrocolloid technology, silicone-based products or polyurethane foam options, Vancive offers a wide range of solutions to meet a variety of consumer wound and skincare applications.
The company’s absorbent hydrocolloids are ideal for blister dressings, callus patches, finger plasters and wound dressing patches, while its silicone and polyurethane white label products are market-ready for you to commercialise.
Drapes, tapes and incise films for surgical applications
Vancive offers a broad range of surgical drapes, fenestration tapes and incise films with patented adhesives and performance characteristics that cover the spectrum of surgical applications.
Negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) drape technology
Vancive provides advanced drape technology that promotes healing in acute or chronic wounds. Its proprietary adhesives are conformable, breathable and waterproof.
Patient monitoring devices for healthcare
Many of Vancive’s single and double-coated foams, films and non-woven materials are suitable for the production of disposable electrocardiography (ECG) electrodes, grounding plates and electrode labels.
These conductive, gel-resistant adhesives offer high and sustained adhesion with no residue after removal.
Comfortable wearable medical devices for sensitive skin
Vancive’s experience in adhesives ensures that wearable medical devices and patches are as comfortable as possible. The company’s formulations can be customised for a variety of patient needs and conditions, including for fragile skin or patients with high moisture or activity levels.
Custom medical tapes for diagnostic applications
Vancive offers an extensive line of medical tape constructions, from single-coated and double-coated designs to medical transfer tapes and self-wound medical tapes.
The company’s custom medical tapes include a broad range of adhesives that are non-migratory and chemically inert for membrane-based diagnostic systems that require optical clarity and high purity.
Applications include microtiters, sterilisation, microbiology, and point-of-care test strips.
