Flowmeters for medical devices

Dialysis systems and other medical devices and equipment that process bodily fluids must be able to be cleaned quickly and easily after each run. The fast and easy exchange of wetted parts using Equflow’s products reduced process downtime to the minimum, avoiding cross-contamination to guarantee patient safety.
Equlow’s disposable and single-use flowmeters only exchange wetted parts, as the electronics are reusable. Calibration data per flow tube is also available.
Products are available in gamma radiation-resistant polyvinylidene difluoride (PVDF) or chemical-resistant perfluoroalkoxy alkanes (PFA) material.
Single-use turbine tube technology
Equflow’s single-use PVDF and PFA turbine tubes position between two hoses that transport liquid to or from a medical machine or device component. Turbine tubes are available in various sizes, covering flow range from 20ml / min to 200 l / min.
Each turbine tube comes with a unique barcode comprising of the amount of K-factor (amount of pulses per litre), among other data such as lot and serial number. A calibrated testing procedure determines K-factors for each tube.
Upon request, Equflow supplies a complete set of validation documents and calibration certificates.
