Telemed is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) that supplies ultrasound solutions for medical, veterinary and research applications. We aim to help medical industry companies build integrated systems that employ ultrasound imaging in combination with surgery, therapy, and navigation equipment.

Telemed’s OEM solutions are used by clinicians, engineers and scientists in more than 80 countries. They are technically verified on our certified products to ensure that the final product will pass tests and certifications without the need for major modifications.

High-quality radio frequency ultrasound scanning devices

Telemed’s ArtUs is a compact, powerful application-based ultrasound device. Equipped with a high-speed USB 3.0 interface, it allows scanning speed to be increased without compromising image quality and provides real-time transfer of radio frequency (RF) ultrasound data to a PC.

The device’s WideView imaging mode maximises viewing area for linear, convex, and endocavity transducers. Other features include improved Spatial Compound available for linear and convex transducers, parallel beamforming, harmonics, and B-steer imaging.

Telemed’s ArtUs scanner is designed to enable faster scanning speeds without reducing image quality.
The ArtUs device allows the user to expand the viewing area for linear, convex, and endocavity transducers.
Our MicrUs ultrasound scanning system offers multiple imaging modes and is suitable for various applications.
The scanner’s multifrequency transducers range from 2.0MHz to 15.0MHz in frequency.
Telemed’s SmartUs is a revised version of Echo Color, our high-performance PC-based ultrasound system.
SmartUs is available with either one or three probe ports and supports a wide range of transducers.
The system enables colour, power, and spectral doppler examinations with high sensitivity and frame rates.
Telemed's MicrUs Pro is a USB-based ultrasound diagnostic system compatible with Windows and Android devices.
The MicrUs Pro allows patient data to be reported and archived in line with MicrUs Pro general specifications.
The device is suitable for general, abdomen, obstetrics, gynaecology, urology, endocrinology, vascular, and MSK procedures among others.

ArtUs is available in two editions, namely ArtUs EXT-1H and ArtUs EXT-2H. Both versions include a beam former module and a power supply, but ArtUs EXT-1H has one probe connector while ArtUs EXT-2H has two. The system’s advanced synchronisation option allows up to six trigger signals to be sent to and from external equipment through auxiliary connectors.

Compact ultrasound systems for a range of therapy areas

MicrUs is Telemed’s USB-powered, pocket-size point-of-care ultrasound imaging system. It offers ultrasound screening in B, M, B/M, and 2B/4B modes in addition to speckle reduction processing, trapezoid, and spatial compound imaging.

MicrUs is suitable for use in several therapy areas, including abdominal, obstetrics and gynaecology (OB-GYN), musculoskeletal (MSK), urology, small parts, anaesthesia, vascular access, and peripheral blocks. The device offers B, 2B, 4B, BM, and M B-Steer imaging modes, as well as four advanced modes: Compound, Wide View, Zoom, and 2B-mode simultaneous imaging (Duo Probe).

The device’s multifrequency transducers range from 2.0MHz to 15.0MHz, which enables high image quality for general, abdominal, obstetric, gynaecological, small parts, musculoskeletal, urological ultrasound, and echo-guided procedures. It is particularly well-suited to ultrasound-guided procedures as it does not contain a fan.

High-performance systems for PC-based ultrasound scanning

Telemed’s SmartUs is an innovative generation of the high-performance, PC-based ultrasound Echo Color system. Its open architecture platform includes several advancements made to the TELEMED Ultrasound Beamforming Technology.

SmartUs is available with either one or three probe ports and supports a wide range of transducers with high-density elements, wideband, and multi-frequency from 1.0MHz to 18.0MHz. Its scanning modes include Convex, Linear, Sector Phased Array, and Endocavity. The high PRF and Digital Doppler multi-beam processing enable colour, power, and spectral doppler examinations with very high sensitivity and frame rates.

Our SmartUs EXT-1M Kit includes the SmartUs EXT-1M beamformer, a USB cable, a 100-240VAC/50-60Hz power supply (EN60601-1), and an AC power cable, as well as an optional ultrasound transducer. The software, assembly and set-up manual, and general operations manual are provided on USB memory.

USB-powered ultrasound diagnostic imaging solutions

Telemed’s MicrUs Pro is an open-architecture, B/W ultrasound diagnostic system powered by USB. The MicrUs technology is integrated into the USB Probe, which can be used on PCs, tablets, and mobile devices running Windows and Android operative systems.

The MicrUs Pro allows patient data to be reported and archived in line with MicrUs Pro general specifications, as well as offering a customisable user interface, multi-language support, and high-speed software image processing. The device bundle features the Telemed Drivers Package and free Telemed software upgrades.

Therapy areas for which the MicrUs Pro device is suitable include general, abdomen, obstetrics, gynaecology, urology, endocrinology, vascular, and MSK. The device is compatible with both Windows and Android devices and has storage space for thousands of images and video files in a range of formats.

About Telemed

Founded in 1992 in Vilnius, Lithuania, Telemed has developed into a widely trusted manufacturer of portable ultrasound scanners and OEM components. Our engineers designed the first PC-based ultrasound system in 1993, knowing our customers would one day be able to use their personal computers for ultrasound imaging.

In 2003, Telemed became an ISO-certified medical device manufacturer and issued its first European Commission (EC) declaration of conformity. In the same year, our first ultrasound system connected to a computer via USB was released for customers.
