EUROFLEX Reel-to-Reel Electro-Polished Nitinol HCF-E Wires for Optimal Break-Resistance

EUROFLEX has released electro-polished third-generation Nitinol HCF wires.

Combining the qualities of Nitinol HCF and electro-polishing, our HCF-E wires are the go-to material for medical devices which require especially smooth and clean surfaces!

The already especially clean surface of the HCF optimized wire shell is further smoothened and cleaned by the process of electro-polishing via electrochemical ablation using our reel-to-reel state-of-the-art electro-polishing process.

The combination of these material qualities with electro-polishing minimalizes defects and makes our HCF-E wires especially break-resistant evaluated in rotary bending tests.

The maximum surface quality of our HCF-E wires is further demonstrated by:

  • High corrosion resistance
  • High biocompatibility
  • High fatigue resistance
  • Bright, smooth surface

With the in-house designed continuous electro-polishing process the wires automatically show low through-put times and thus are a cost-effective alternative to e-polishing processes based on piece goods.
