Jacques Allemann manufactures fine wires, precision wires, and precision axles and wires. The company also manufactures profiles with extremely close tolerances. Jacques Allemann can cater for a wide range of production volumes starting from less than 1kg, and can offer very short delivery times, maximum precision and quality, support from the materials laboratory, and competent support and technical advice.

Fine wire manufacture using alloys

Jacques Allemann manufactures fine wires, precision wires, and precision axles and wires in a range of high-quality alloys, including rust-resistant alloys, acid-resistant alloys, heat-resistant alloys, non-ferrous alloys, special alloys and super alloys.

Fine wires for medical device applications

Jacques Allemann fine wires are used in a variety of medical device applications, including dental drills, bone screws, eye-pressure measurements, watch hands, dial labelling, casing components and mechanics, electronic conductors (e.g. light-bulb filaments and quartzes), condensers, micromotor spindles and grinding / polishing wires.

  • Coils with internal diameter: 200mm-600mm

Wire on spools is available in the following specifications:

  • Diameter range Ø: 0.005mm-4,000mm
  • Tolerances Ø: according to DIN or 1μm-20μm
  • Spool external diameter: 40mm-500mm
  • Wires from 0.1mm-15,000mm can be straightened directly on spools

Precision wire and small flat-rolled wire

Jacques Allemann can provide precision wire:

  • Diameter range Ø: 0.005mm-1,500mm
  • Tolerance Ø: accoding to DIN or 1μm-5μm
  • Spool external diameter: 40mm-500mm

Small flat-rolled wire is also available:

  • Thickness: 0.002mm-1,000mm
  • Width: 0.05mm-3,000mm
  • Tolerances according to customer specification
  • Delivery in coils or on spools

Wire straightened into bars

Jacques Allemann manufactures wire that is straightened into bars, in the following specifications:

  • Diameter range Ø: 0.15mm-3,500mm
  • Tolerances Ø: according to DIN or 1μm-20μm
  • Bar length: from 300mm-4,000mm (depending on diameter)
  • Tolerance lengths: 10mm-20mm
  • Perfectly straight bars, without torsion
  • Packaging is according to customer specification

Axles and pins

Jacques Allemann axles and pins are available as follows:

  • Diameter range Ø: 0.05mm-3,500mm
  • Tolerance Ø: according to DIN or 1μm-20μm
  • Bar length: from 5mm-300mm
  • Tolerance lengths: 0.2mm-1mm
  • Special profiles and flat-rolled wires
  • Shape (e.g. square, rectangle, triangle, rhombus, or according to specification)
  • Minimum cross-section: 0.5mm²
  • Maximum cross-section: 6mm²
  • Delivery as wire in coils, on spools or in bars
  • Tolerances Ø: 0.4μm-20μm
