The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 4.84% in July 2021 when compared with June 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 19.58% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2021, and recorded a 0.43% growth over the last three-month average share.

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Carl Zeiss, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 70.31% in July 2021, and a 21.05% drop over June 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 17.19% in July 2021, and registered an 8.33% decline. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 9.38% in July 2021, a 60% drop from June 2021.

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in July 2021 with an 85.94% share, which marked a 32.93% drop over the previous month.

North America stood next with 7.81%, registering a 50% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 6.25% share and a flat growth over June 2021.

Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with an 82.81% share in July 2021, a 32.05% decline over June 2021. the US featured next with a 7.81% share, down 50% over the previous month.Ireland recorded a 3.13% share, decline of 50% compared with June 2021.

Junior Level jobs held a share of 87.5%, down by 28.21% from June 2021. Entry Level positions with a 7.81% share, a growth of 25% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 4.69% share, down 70% over June 2021.
