Management Occupations, with a share of 14%, was the occupation with the greatest hiring activity in the global medical industry in Q3 2023, ahead of Computer and Mathematical Occupations with an 8% share of job postings.
The other prominent roles include Business and Financial Operations Occupations with a 7% share in Q3 2023, Office and Administrative Support Occupations with a 10% share and Architecture and Engineering Occupations with a 7% share of new job postings.

Thermo Fisher Scientific posted 5,356 jobs in Q3 2023 and registered a growth of 100% over the previous quarter, followed by Laboratory Corp of America Holdings with 3,776 jobs and a 36% decline. Medtronic with 3,761 jobs and Abbott Laboratories with 3,593 jobs, recorded a 79% growth and an 18% drop, respectively, while Koninklijke Philips recorded a 30% drop with 2,994 job postings during Q3 2023.
