Management Occupations drive medical industry hiring activity

Of the industry's total hiring activity, the highest number of new job postings were for Management Occupations, which accounted for 18% of the total new job postings in Q2 2024 and were up by 29% year-on-year. Second highest were Computer and Mathematical Occupations, which accounted for 17% and drop by 4% year-on-year, and third highest were Architecture and Engineering Occupations, which were 33% of the new job postings and 71% higher year-on-year.

Top five companies in medical industry accounted for 51% of hiring activity

The highest number of jobs were posted by Shenzhen Mindray Bio-Medical Electronics with 1,382, followed by Heinen + Lowenstein with 996, while the highest increase was at Biotronik SE at 18%.
