Management Occupations, with a share of 27%, emerged as the top precision and personalized medicine-related job roles within the medical industry in Q4 2023, with new job postings drop by 10% quarter-on-quarter. Life, Physical, and Social Science Occupations came in second with a share of 20% in Q4 2023, with new job postings dropping by 2% over the previous quarter.
The other prominent precision and personalized medicine roles include Sales and Related Occupations with a 14% share in Q4 2023, Computer and Mathematical Occupations with a 7% share of new job postings.

Together they accounted for a combined share of 50% of all precision and personalized medicine-related new jobs in the medical industry.
Guardant Health posted 209 precision and personalized medicine-related new jobs in Q4 2023, Oxford Nanopore Technologies 78 jobs, Illumina 70 jobs, Qiagen 70 jobs, and Tempus Labs 61 jobs, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics.

The largest share of precision and personalized medicine-related new job postings in the medical industry in Q4 2023 was in the US with 75.44% followed by the UK (4.54%) and Poland (4.13%). The share represented by the US was five percentage points lower than the 80.54% share it accounted for in Q3 2023.
