Ireland-based company Medtronic’s IT hiring an increased 21.7% in July 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 0.52% in July 2021 when compared with June 2021.
IT jobs claimed an 11.24% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2021, and recorded a 2.24% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Medtronic IT hiring in July 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Medtronic, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 63.16% in July 2021, and a 38.95% growth over June 2021, while Computer and Information Analysts claimed a share of 19.62% in July 2021, and registered a 22.64% decline. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 6.22% in July 2021, a 23.53% drop from June 2021.
Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Medtronic
Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in July 2021 with a 41.15% share, which marked a 230.77% growth over the previous month.
North America stood next with 35.41%, registering a 26.73% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with an 18.66% share and a 13.33% drop over June 2021.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 2.87% and a month-on-month decline of 64.71%.South & Central America stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 1.91%, registering a 33.33% drop over the previous month.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 39.71% share in July 2021, a 388.24% growth over June 2021. the US featured next with a 34.45% share, down 28% over the previous month.United Kingdom recorded a 6.7% share, decline of 6.67% compared with June 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Medtronic IT hiring activity in July 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 46.41%, up by 1.04% from June 2021. Mid Level positions with a 28.23% share, a decline of 6.35% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 25.36% share, up 47.22% over June 2021.
