The company’s overall hiring activity an increased by 6.34% in June 2021 when compared with May 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 7.2% share in the company’s total hiring activity in June 2021, and recorded a 0.24% down over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops PPD Group IT hiring in June 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by PPD Group, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 74.04% in June 2021, and a 24.19% growth over May 2021, while Computer Support Specialists claimed a share of 9.62% in June 2021, and registered a flat growth. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 7.69% in June 2021, a flat growth from May 2021.
North America drives IT hiring at PPD Group
North America emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in June 2021 with a 39.42% share, which marked a 6.82% drop over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 36.54%, registering a 171.43% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 24.04% share and a 13.64% growth over May 2021.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 38.46% share in June 2021, a 4.76% decline over May 2021. India featured next with an 18.27% share, up 46.15% over the previous month.Bulgaria recorded a 6.73% share, an increase of 250% compared with May 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead PPD Group IT hiring activity in June 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 61.54%, up by 14.29% from May 2021. Entry Level positions with a 25.96% share, a growth of 92.86% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 12.5% share, up 62.5% over May 2021.
