The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 13.04% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Singapore’s medical industry during August 2021 over July 2021.
Becton Dickinson and posted 8 IT jobs in August 2021 and registered a rise of 14.29% over the previous month, followed by Medtronic with 4 jobs and a flat growth. Bio-Rad Laboratories with 3 IT jobs and Illumina with 3 jobs, recorded a 50% flat growth and a 57.14% decrease, respectively, while Abbott Laboratories recorded a decline of 71.43% with 2 job postings during August 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 61.29%, down by 32.14% from July 2021. Mid Level positions with a 19.35% share, registered a decline of 33.33% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 19.35% share, down 25% over July 2021.
