US-based company Becton Dickinson and’s IT hiring remained flat in September 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 5.14% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 7.53% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2021, and recorded a 0.03% decline over the last three-month average share.


Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Becton Dickinson and IT hiring in September 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Becton Dickinson and, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 55.56% in September 2021, and a 29.21% rise over August 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 14.98% in September 2021, and registered growth of 138.46%. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 13.04% in September 2021, a 22.73% rise from August 2021.


North America drives IT hiring at Becton Dickinson and

North America emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in September 2021 with an 82.61% share, which marked a 14% rise over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 16.43%, registering a flat month-on-month growth. South & Central America was the third leading region with a 0.48% share and a flat growth over August 2021.

In the fourth place was Vienna with a share of 0.48% and a month-on-month flat growth.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with an 81.64% share in September 2021, a 14.97% growth over August 2021. India featured next with a 12.08% share, up 19.05% over the previous month. Singapore recorded a 2.42% share, a decline of 37.5% compared with August 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Becton Dickinson and IT hiring activity in September 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 56.04%, up by 7.41% from August 2021. Mid Level positions with a 30.43% share, a growth of 16.67% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 11.59% share, up 33.33% over August 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 1.93%, recording a month-on-month decline of 33.33%.
