China’s medical industry registered a 13.0% drop in IT hiring activity in August 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 9.54% in August 2022 when compared with July 2022.
Out of the medical industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed an 8.32% share in August 2022, recording a decrease of 0.03% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in China’s medical industry’s IT recruitment activity in August 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 96.55% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of China’s medical industry in August 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 52.87% in August 2022, registering a 27.78% growth over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 29.89% share, an increase of 44.44% over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 4.6%, registering a 100% rise from July 2022.
4) Computer and Information Research Scientists captured a share of 4.6%, up 300% over the previous month.
Top five medical companies in China’s IT recruitment activity in August 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of China’s medical industry during August 2022 over July 2022.
Koninklijke Philips posted 37 IT jobs in August 2022 and registered a rise of 825% over the previous month, followed by Thermo Fisher Scientific with 8 jobs and a 52.94% drop. Sartorius with 6 IT jobs and Dentsply Sirona with 6 jobs, recorded a 200% growth and a 50% growth, respectively, while Danaher recorded an increase of 25% with 5 job postings during August 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 80.46%, up by 29.63% from July 2022. Mid Level positions with a 12.64% share, registered an increase of 83.33% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 6.9% share, down 45.45% over July 2022.
