US-based company Danaher ’s IT hiring declined 8.1% in September 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 4.12% in September 2022 when compared with August 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 9.54% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2022, and recorded a 0.12% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Danaher IT hiring in September 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Danaher, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 56.07% in September 2022, and a 28.57% drop over August 2022, while Computer Support Specialists claimed a share of 14.95% in September 2022, and registered a decline of 27.27%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 12.15% in September 2022, a 13.33% drop from August 2022.
North America drives IT hiring at Danaher
North America emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in September 2022 with a 49.53% share, which marked a 32.91% drop over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 39.25%, registering a 13.51% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 10.28% share and a 59.26% drop over August 2022.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 0.93% and a month-on-month flat growth.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 47.66% share in September 2022, a 33.77% decline over August 2022. India featured next with a 27.1% share, up 7.41% over the previous month. China recorded an 8.41% share, an increase of 80% compared with August 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Danaher IT hiring activity in September 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 54.21%, down by 30.95% from August 2022. Mid Level positions with a 28.97% share, a decline of 11.43% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 16.82% share, down 33.33% over August 2022.
