Denmark’s medical industry registered a 2.2% drop in IT hiring activity in March 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 18.49% in March 2022 when compared with February 2022.
Out of the medical industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 10.93% share in March 2022, recording a decrease of 2.6% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Denmark’s medical industry’s IT recruitment activity in March 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Denmark’s medical industry in March 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 79.63% in March 2022, registering a 10.42% decline over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 9.26% share, a decrease of 16.67% over the previous month.
3) Computer Support Specialists held a share of 3.7%, registering a 100% rise from February 2022.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 3.7%, flat growth over the previous month.
Top five medical companies in Denmark’s IT recruitment activity in March 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 3.75% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Denmark’s medical industry during March 2022 over February 2022.
Demant posted 24 IT jobs in March 2022 and registered a drop of 4% over the previous month, followed by William Demant Holding with 24 jobs and a 4% drop. Ambu with 14 IT jobs and GN Store Nord with 12 jobs, recorded a 50% decline and a 500% growth, respectively, while Agilent Technologies recorded a flat growth with 3 job postings during March 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in March 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 59.26%, down by 23.81% from February 2022. Entry Level positions with a 35.19% share, registered an increase of 171.43% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 5.56% share, down 70% over February 2022.
