US-based company GE Healthcare’s IT hiring declined 9.1% in November 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 3.6% in November 2021 when compared with October 2021.

IT jobs claimed an 18.14% share in the company’s total hiring activity in November 2021, and recorded a 2% decline over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops GE Healthcare IT hiring in November 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by GE Healthcare, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 88.2% in November 2021, and a 6.08% rise over October 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 4.49% in November 2021, and registered growth of 166.67%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 3.37% in November 2021, a 33.33% drop from October 2021.

Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at GE Healthcare

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in November 2021 with a 60.11% share, which marked a 20.22% rise over the previous month.

North America stood next with 26.97%, registering a 12.73% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with an 11.8% share and a 10.53% rise over October 2021.

In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 1.12% and a month-on-month decline of 75%.

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 48.88% share in November 2021, a 58.18% growth over October 2021. US featured next with a 25.28% share, down 4.26% over the previous month. China recorded a 6.18% share, a decline of 62.07% compared with October 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead GE Healthcare IT hiring activity in November 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 52.81%, down by 11.32% from October 2021. Mid Level positions with a 42.13% share, a growth of 41.51% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 3.93% share, down 46.15% over October 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 1.12%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
