
US-based company GE Healthcare’s IT hiring rose 6.4% in March 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 1.28% in March 2022 when compared with February 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 23.32% share in the company’s total hiring activity in March 2022, and recorded a 3.22% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops GE Healthcare IT hiring in March 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by GE Healthcare, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 86.82% in March 2022, and a 12.56% rise over February 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 4.26% in March 2022, and registered growth of 175%. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 3.49% in March 2022, a 350% rise from February 2022.
Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at GE Healthcare
Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in March 2022 with a 58.14% share, which marked a 16.28% rise over the previous month.
North America stood next with 23.26%, registering a 9.09% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 13.95% share and an 80% rise over February 2022.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 4.26% and a month-on-month increase of 266.67%. South & Central America stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 0.39%, registering a flat growth over the previous month.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 46.12% share in March 2022, a 1.65% decline over February 2022. US featured next with a 22.09% share, down 3.39% over the previous month. China recorded a 9.69% share, an increase of 525% compared with February 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead GE Healthcare IT hiring activity in March 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 51.94%, up by 28.85% from February 2022. Mid Level positions with a 40.7% share, a growth of 10.53% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 6.59% share, down 5.56% over February 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.78%, recording a month-on-month increase of 100%.
