
Germany’s medical industry registered a 2.0% drop in IT hiring activity in July 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 0.23% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.
Out of the medical industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 4.9% share in July 2022, recording a decrease of 0.51% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Germany’s medical industry’s IT recruitment activity in July 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 97.52% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s medical industry in July 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 54.66% in July 2022, registering a 20.55% growth over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 13.66% share, a decrease of 4.35% over the previous month.
3) Computer Support Specialists held a share of 13.66%, registering a 175% rise from June 2022.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 8.07%, down 7.14% over the previous month.
Top five medical companies in Germany’s IT recruitment activity in July 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 72.55% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s medical industry during July 2022 over June 2022.
medi GmbHKG posted 38 IT jobs in July 2022 and registered a rise of 18.75% over the previous month, followed by Sartorius with 16 jobs and a 23.08% growth. Apotheken Dienstleistungsgesellschaft with 12 IT jobs and BrainLAB with 11 jobs, recorded a 140% growth and a 1000% growth, respectively, while Medtronic recorded a flat growth with 11 job postings during July 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 76.4%, up by 41.38% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with a 12.42% share, registered a decline of 28.57% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 11.18% share, up 80% over June 2022.
