Germany’s medical industry registered a 1.6% rise in IT hiring activity in March 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring increased by 0.15% in March 2022 when compared with February 2022.

Out of the medical industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 9.48% share in March 2022, recording an increase of 0.16% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in Germany’s medical industry’s IT recruitment activity in March 2022

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100.69% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s medical industry in March 2022.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 67.7% in March 2022, registering a 7.65% growth over the previous month.

2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 16.84% share, an increase of 2.08% over the previous month.

3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 7.9%, registering a 39.47% decline from February 2022.

4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 6.87%, down 9.09% over the previous month.

Top five medical companies in Germany’s IT recruitment activity in March 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 30.33% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s medical industry during March 2022 over February 2022.

Carl Zeiss posted 40 IT jobs in March 2022 and registered a rise of 53.85% over the previous month, followed by medi GmbHKG with 39 jobs and a 33.9% drop. Sartorius with 33 IT jobs and Apotheken Dienstleistungsgesellschaft with 29 jobs, recorded a 65% growth and an 866.67% growth, respectively, while Sarstedt AGKG recorded an increase of 28.57% with 18 job postings during March 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in March 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 67.7%, down by 13.6% from February 2022. Mid Level positions with an 18.56% share, registered an increase of 25.58% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 13.75% share, up 42.86% over February 2022.
