Germany’s medical industry registered a 2.6% rise in IT hiring activity in November 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring increased by 3.57% in November 2021 when compared with October 2021.

Out of the medical industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 9.5% share in November 2021, recording an increase of 0.65% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in Germany’s medical industry’s IT recruitment activity in November 2021

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 103.79% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s medical industry in November 2021.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 60.57% in November 2021, registering an 11.63% growth over the previous month.

2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 23.66% share, an increase of 19.05% over the previous month.

3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 13.25%, registering a 16% decline from October 2021.

4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 5.36%, up 6.25% over the previous month.

Top five medical companies in Germany’s IT recruitment activity in November 2021

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 17.24% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s medical industry during November 2021 over October 2021.

medi GmbHKG posted 63 IT jobs in November 2021 and registered a drop of 3.08% over the previous month, followed by Arjo with 50 jobs and a 72.41% growth. Sarstedt AGKG with 40 IT jobs and Sartorius with 28 jobs, recorded a 2.44% decline and a 40% growth, respectively, while Carl Zeiss recorded an increase of 21.05% with 23 job postings during November 2021.

Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 60.57%, down by 2.54% from October 2021. Mid Level positions with a 22.71% share, registered an increase of 63.64% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 16.72% share, up 6% over October 2021.
