The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 2.65% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.

Out of the medical industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 22.13% share in July 2022, recording a decrease of 1.02% over the last three-month average share.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 67.13% in July 2022, registering a 22.01% decline over the previous month.

2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 12.81% share, a decrease of 28.13% over the previous month.

3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 11.98%, registering a 34.38% rise from June 2022.

4) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations captured a share of 3.62%, down 69.77% over the previous month.

Top five medical companies in India’s IT recruitment activity in July 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 21.57% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of India’s medical industry during July 2022 over June 2022.

Carl Zeiss posted 49 IT jobs in July 2022 and registered a drop of 2% over the previous month, followed by Thermo Fisher Scientific with 42 jobs and a 56.7% drop. Koninklijke Philips with 41 IT jobs and Danaher with 36 jobs, recorded a 35.94% decline and an 18.18% decrease, respectively, while Medtronic recorded a flat growth with 32 job postings during July 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 57.94%, down by 25.71% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with a 27.02% share, registered a decline of 35.33% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 15.04% share, up 28.57% over June 2022.
