Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Middle East & Africa with a share of 65.52% in November 2021, a 26.92% drop over the previous month. Computer and Information Analysts came in next, claiming a share of 10.34% in November 2021, marking a flat month-on-month increase. In the third place was Computer Support Specialists with a share of 10.34% in November 2021, a 50% rise from October 2021.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average decline of 18.52% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Middle East & Africa’s medical industry during November 2021 over previous month.
Medtronic posted 8 IT jobs in November 2021 and registered a decline of 42.86% over the previous month, followed by Danaher with 5 jobs and a 150% growth. Vayyar Imaging with 4 IT jobs and Healthy io with 3 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while GE Healthcare recorded a 75% decline with 2 job postings during November 2021.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Middle East & Africa’s medical industry
Israel commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 62.07% share in November 2021, a 30.77% decrease over October 2021. Saudi Arabia featured next with a 13.79% share, up 33.33% over the previous month. United Arab Emirates recorded a 6.9% share, a drop of 50% compared with October 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 79.31%, down by 17.86% from October 2021. Mid Level positions with a 10.34% share, registered a decline of 66.67% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 10.34% share, down 25% over October 2021.
