Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations leads by classification in June 2022
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in North America with a share of 45.18% in June 2022, a 30.94% drop over the previous month. Computer Support Specialists came in next, claiming a share of 20.12% in June 2022, marking an 85.87% month-on-month increase. In the third place was Database and Network Administrators and Architects with a share of 14.06% in June 2022, a 30.72% drop from May 2022.

Top five medical companies in North America’s IT recruitment activity in June 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average growth of 31.97% in the overall IT recruitment activity of North America’s medical industry during June 2022 over previous month.
Intelerad Medical Systems posted 179 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered an increase of 159.42% over the previous month, followed by Thermo Fisher Scientific with 127 jobs and a 135.19% growth. Sonova with 83 IT jobs and Abbott Laboratories with 81 jobs, recorded an 8.79% drop and a 5.19% rise, respectively, while Becton Dickinson and recorded a 36.8% decline with 79 job postings during June 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in North America’s medical industry
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 95.06% share in June 2022, an 18.01% decrease over May 2022. Canada featured next with a 4% share, down 10.53% over the previous month. Mexico recorded a 0.94% share, a drop of 48.39% compared with May 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 64.29%, down by 10.92% from May 2022. Mid Level positions with a 19.12% share, registered a decline of 36.89% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 16.53% share, down 16.12% over May 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.06%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
