Poland’s medical industry registered a 25.4% drop in IT hiring activity in April 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 10.99% in April 2022 when compared with March 2022.

Out of the medical industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 21.26% share in April 2022, recording a decrease of 0.82% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in Poland’s medical industry’s IT recruitment activity in April 2022

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s medical industry in April 2022.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 56% in April 2022, registering a 66.4% decline over the previous month.

2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 30.67% share, an increase of 109.09% over the previous month.

3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 6.67%, registering a 76.19% decline from March 2022.

4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 4%, up 200% over the previous month.

Top five medical companies in Poland’s IT recruitment activity in April 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 53.03% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s medical industry during April 2022 over March 2022.

Sonova posted 25 IT jobs in April 2022 and registered a rise of 66.67% over the previous month, followed by Demant with 23 jobs and a 78.1% drop. Zimmer Biomet Holdings with 8 IT jobs and GN Store Nord with 3 jobs, recorded a 300% growth and a 70% decrease, respectively, while Alcon recorded a flat growth with 3 job postings during April 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in April 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 68%, down by 51.89% from March 2022. Entry Level positions with a 22.67% share, registered a decline of 55.26% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 9.33% share, down 61.11% over March 2022.
