Out of the total IT job titles posted by Sartorius, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 65.31% in May 2022, and a 53.62% drop over April 2022, while Computer Support Specialists claimed a share of 14.29% in May 2022, and registered growth of 16.67%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 10.2% in May 2022, a 44.44% drop from April 2022.
Europe drives IT hiring at Sartorius
Europe emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in May 2022 with a 42.86% share, which marked a 48.78% drop over the previous month.
North America stood next with 32.65%, registering a 38.46% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 24.49% share and a 52% drop over April 2022.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 32.65% share in May 2022, a 38.46% decline over April 2022. Germany featured next with a 16.33% share, down 55.56% over the previous month. India recorded a 16.33% share, an increase of 100% compared with April 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Sartorius IT hiring activity in May 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 85.71%, down by 42.47% from April 2022. Entry Level positions with an 8.16% share, a decline of 63.64% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 6.12% share, down 70% over April 2022.
