Germany-based company Sartorius IT hiring declined 2.4% in April 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 0.23% in April 2022 when compared with March 2022.
IT jobs claimed an 11.45% share in the company’s total hiring activity in April 2022, and recorded a 1.22% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Sartorius IT hiring in April 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Sartorius, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 78.03% in April 2022, and a 53.73% rise over March 2022, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 8.33% in April 2022, and registered growth of 37.5%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 5.3% in April 2022, a 16.67% rise from March 2022.
Europe drives IT hiring at Sartorius
Europe emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in April 2022 with a 43.94% share, which marked an 18.37% rise over the previous month.
North America stood next with 29.55%, registering a 178.57% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 24.24% share and a 52.38% rise over March 2022.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 2.27% and a month-on-month decline of 50%.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 29.55% share in April 2022, a 178.57% growth over March 2022. Germany featured next with a 22.73% share, down 9.09% over the previous month. Singapore recorded an 8.33% share, an increase of 83.33% compared with March 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Sartorius IT hiring activity in April 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 75.76%, up by 69.49% from March 2022. Entry Level positions with a 12.88% share, a growth of 112.5% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with an 11.36% share, down 34.78% over March 2022.
