The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 4.19% in May 2022 when compared with April 2022.
Out of the medical industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 5.88% share in May 2022, recording a decrease of 0.79% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Singapore’s medical industry’s IT recruitment activity in May 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Singapore’s medical industry in May 2022.
1) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations recorded a share of 40% in May 2022, registering a flat growth over the previous month.
2) Computer and Information Analysts claimed a 20% share, a flat growth over the previous month.
3) Computer Support Specialists held a share of 20%, registering a 75% decline from April 2022.
4) Database and Network Administrators and Architects captured a share of 20%, down 66.67% over the previous month.
Top five medical companies in Singapore’s IT recruitment activity in May 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 25% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Singapore’s medical industry during May 2022 over April 2022.
10X Genomics posted 1 IT job in May 2022 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by Thermo Fisher Scientific with 1 job and a flat growth. Illumina with 1 IT job and Agilent Technologies with 1 jobs, recorded a 50% decline and a flat growth, respectively, while Idexx Laboratories recorded a flat growth with 1 job postings during May 2022.
Entry Level job postings dominate in May 2022
Entry Level jobs held a share of 60%, flat growth from April 2022. Junior Level positions with a 20% share, registered a decline of 93.75% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 20% share, down 50% over April 2022.
