Sweden’s medical industry registered an 8.0% drop in IT hiring activity in February 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 6.25% in February 2022 when compared with January 2022.
Out of the medical industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 19.09% share in February 2022, recording an increase of 2.99% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Sweden’s medical industry’s IT recruitment activity in February 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 97.56% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Sweden’s medical industry in February 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 60.98% in February 2022, registering a 35.9% decline over the previous month.
2) Computer and Information Research Scientists claimed a 12.2% share, an increase of 25% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 12.2%, registering a flat growth from January 2022.
4) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations captured a share of 7.32%, down 40% over the previous month.
Top five medical companies in Sweden’s IT recruitment activity in February 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 29.17% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Sweden’s medical industry during February 2022 over January 2022.
Breas Medical posted 8 IT jobs in February 2022 and registered a drop of 11.11% over the previous month, followed by Danaher with 7 jobs and a 133.33% growth. Sectra with 7 IT jobs and Cambio Healthcare Systems with 6 jobs, recorded a 12.5% decline and a 100% growth, respectively, while CellaVision recorded an increase of 200% with 3 job postings during February 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in February 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 65.85%, down by 22.86% from January 2022. Mid Level positions with a 19.51% share, registered an increase of 100% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 14.63% share, flat growth over January 2022.
