The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 1.56% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.
IT jobs claimed an 8.85% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2022, and recorded a 0.3% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Thermo Fisher Scientific IT hiring in July 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Thermo Fisher Scientific, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 52.99% in July 2022, and a 46.59% drop over June 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 14.34% in July 2022, and registered a decline of 47.06%. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 13.94% in July 2022, a 37.5% drop from June 2022.
North America drives IT hiring at Thermo Fisher Scientific
North America emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in July 2022 with a 51.39% share, which marked a 37.07% drop over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 28.29%, registering a 53.59% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 19.92% share and a 41.18% drop over June 2022.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 0.4% and a month-on-month decline of 50%.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 47.41% share in July 2022, a 34.62% decline over June 2022. India featured next with a 16.73% share, down 56.7% over the previous month. China recorded a 6.77% share, a decline of 34.62% compared with June 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Thermo Fisher Scientific IT hiring activity in July 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 59.36%, down by 50% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with a 21.51% share, a decline of 46% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 19.12% share, flat growth over June 2022.
