The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 8.83% in November 2021 when compared with October 2021.
IT jobs claimed a 10.25% share in the company’s total hiring activity in November 2021, and recorded a 0.41% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Thermo Fisher Scientific IT hiring in November 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Thermo Fisher Scientific, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 59.32% in November 2021, and a 13.82% rise over October 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 11.86% in November 2021, and registered growth of 33.33%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 11.02% in November 2021, a 36.84% rise from October 2021.
North America drives IT hiring at Thermo Fisher Scientific
North America emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in November 2021 with a 44.92% share, which marked a 5.36% drop over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 34.32%, registering a 72.34% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 19.07% share and a 40.63% rise over October 2021.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 1.27% and a month-on-month increase of 50%. Middle East & Africa stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 0.42%, registering a flat growth over the previous month.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 39.83% share in November 2021, a 12.15% decline over October 2021. India featured next with a 17.8% share, up 250% over the previous month. Singapore recorded a 7.2% share, an increase of 142.86% compared with October 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Thermo Fisher Scientific IT hiring activity in November 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 58.47%, up by 31.43% from October 2021. Mid Level positions with a 23.73% share, a growth of 64.71% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 17.8% share, down 22.22% over October 2021.
