US-based ITUS Corp plans to raise $24m through a public offering of securities, including common stock, preferred stock, warrants and units.

The company plans to use the funds for general corporate purposes such as clinical work, licensing activities and working capital.

Medtronic Care Management Services LLC (MCMS) and American Well Corp have signed an agreement to develop a telehealth solution capable of addressing the needs of chronic, co-morbid patients.

The agreement enables patients to access American Well’s telemedicine services through MCMS’ video-enabled platforms.

MCMS is a subsidiary of Medtronic plc while American Well is a telehealth company. Both the companies are based in the US.

genedrive Plc has signed a distribution agreement with Sysmex Europe GmbH for the Genedrive HCV ID Kit and Genedrive platform.

“The agreement enables patients to access American Well’s telemedicine services through MCMS’ video-enabled platforms.”

The agreement covers marketing and distribution of the products in the EMEA region, especially in the African regions.

genedrive is a UK-based molecular diagnostics company, while Sysmex is a German diagnostic solutions provider.

Teijin Pharma Ltd has acquired the rights to sell the Neurostar Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) device from Neuronetics Inc.

The pharmaceutical and home healthcare products provider plans to sell the device to medical institutions under the Japanese national health programme.

Both the companies involved in the deal are based in Japan.
