US-based medical instruments provider GCX has introduced the new Foetal Monitoring Workstation under its GCX Modular Cart Series.

The new bedside cart features a combination of foetal monitoring and electronic medical record (EMR) hardware.

Intended to improve clinical workflows, the fully configurable and adjustable cart is said to integrate IT components and accessories to deliver a safe and efficient workstation.

GCX product manager Colleen Scott said: “The initial feedback we’ve received from customers has been fantastic.

“It’s much easier to move around than wood carts – you can pull the module cart with one hand.

“People also seem to enjoy the lights, drawer dividers and wells to hold tokos/gels and pens.”
