US-based medical devices manufacturer Medtronic Plc has acquired Irish medical diagnostics firm Crospon Ltd for €38m ($44.72m).

US-based medical devices manufacturer Medtronic Plc has acquired Irish medical diagnostics firm Crospon Ltd for €38m ($44.72m).

Upon completion of acquisition, Crospon will be integrated into the respiratory, gastrointestinal, and informatics unit of Medtronic.

The acquisition will expand Medtronic’s product range.

US-based applied solutions provider IDEX Corporation has acquired German microfluidic appliances developer thinXXS Microtechnology.

The target company will be integrated into IDEX’s Health and Science Technologies (HST) division.

The acquisition will strengthen IDEX’s market reach and expand its product portfolio.

Spine technology company NuVasive Inc has agreed to acquire intra-operative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) services provider SafePassage.

“Health technology company Revenio Group Corporation has agreed to acquire the remaining 46.5% stake in Oscare Medical Oy, increasing its total stake to 100%.”

The acquisition will enable NuVasive to expand its IONM services.

Both the acquirer and target companies are based in the US.

Revenio acquired 53.5% in Oscare Medical in 2013.

The latest transaction strengthens Revenio’s health technology portfolio and enhances its market reach.

Both the companies involved in the acquisition are based in Finland.
