Livongo Health plans to advance the launch of new products and services and expand into new market segments using a $44.5m series C financing round which was completed on 12 April.

Merck Global Health Innovation, Cowen Private Investments, Sapphire Ventures, Zaffre Investments, Wanxiang America Corporation and other investors such as General Catalyst Partners, Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers (KPCB), Draper Fisher Jurvtson (DFJ) and 7 wire Ventures participated in the financing.

Canadian medical device company Visiomed Group SA has announced the issue of bonds that are convertible into shares with equity warrants, in order to help launch large-scale commercial activities.
