Italian medical diagnostics developer Esaote has launched its new MyLab 9 ultrasound platform designed to deliver quality images, smart workflow and improved performance.

The new ultrasound includes a touch-tool technology, easyMode, which eliminates complex technical operations and enables users to focus on patient examination.

Meant for hospitals, clinics and private practices, the device includes upgradability, options for long-term maintenance, remote serviceability and compatibility for a transducer.

Esaote chief global marketing officer Massimo Rosa said: “Today, economic constraints and the increase in average life expectancy are opposing forces.

“The MyLab 9 eXP provides advanced diagnostic capabilities and clinical efficacy to respond effectively to the most demanding healthcare needs, expanding the access to innovative technologies for more customers.”
