Eurofins Scientific SE plans to acquire diagnostics testing provider Genoma Group Srl (Genoma).

Eurofins Scientific SE plans to acquire diagnostics testing provider Genoma Group Srl (Genoma).

Based in Luxembourg, Eurofins is a bio-analytical testing and genomic services firm.

The acquisition will enable the company to enter Italy’s clinical testing market and to strengthen its position in Europe’s specialty diagnostic testing market.

Swedish private equity firm EQT AB, through its affiliate EQT VII Fund, plans to procure a 20% stake in German-based Otto Bock HealthCare GmbH.

The acquisition will enable Otto Bock to focus on innovation and future growth.

Johnson and Johnson (J&J) subsidiary DePuy Synthes Products Inc has announced the purchase of Innovative Surgical Solutions LLC (dba Sentio, LLC).

"The addition will strengthen DePuy Synthes’ spine portfolio and foster future innovation."

DePuy Synthes is an orthopaedics and neuro products provider, while Sentio is a nerve localisation technology provider for spine surgery.

Both the companies involved in the acquisition are based in the US.

Jolt Capital SAS and Ambrosia Investments Am Sarl (Ambrosia) have announced the acquisition of a 42.94% stake in Alpha MOS SA from Diagnostic Medical Systems (DMS) for €6.47m ($7.22m).

Both Jolt Capital and Ambrosia are private equity firms based in France and Luxembourg respectively.
