Philips Respironics, a unit of Royal Philips, has introduced a new gel pillows mask called Nuance, which is designed to comfortably seal at the opening of the nose and help improve therapy options for sleep apnoea patients, clinicians and home care providers.
The Nuance’s lightweight, open style headgear and soft fabric frame provide sense of freedom and independence.
Nuance and Nuance Pro gel nasal pillows are reportedly the first of a kind in nasal pillow masks available in the market.
According to the company, the Nuance has the greater comfort and seal of gel pillows, fits many different size nostrils and offers choice of a fabric or gel frame.
Nuance’s remarkable nasal pillows are infused with a ring of soft, flexible gel that rests on the outside of the nostrils to create a secure seal without pressure or with fewer red marks.
The Nuance Pro frame is made of flexible clear silicone and reduces the need for re-adjustment, and provides high-performance. It includes gel padded frame to hold the mask in place during sleep.
