Following the acquisition, the operations of it-mark will join Sectra’s Imaging IT Solutions business area, which develops and sells IT solutions and services that enable medical images to be managed.

According to Sectra, the transaction includes a cash consideration and an additional purchase consideration. it-mark will be taken over by Sectra on 30 April and the operations will be consolidated into the group as of May 2015.

The parties have not disclosed the value of the transaction. it-mark primarily delivers services for managing medical images (PACS) through the internet. Its customers are mainly located in Denmark and other European countries.
