Novarad has reached a partnership with Ikonopedia to offer a next-generation breast imaging platform to radiologists.

NovaMG Pro is a complete breast care platform that is claimed to feature an easy-to-use viewer as well as next-generation software for tracking and reporting.

The combination of Ikonopedia’s modern cloud-based breast imaging reporting system and Novarad’s advanced viewing and image management technology is expected to provide radiologists with better breast imaging.

Ikonopedia offers a structured reporting tool for breast reporting. It uses advanced quality metrics alerts and reporting to reduce the number of wrong patient reports and incorrect laterality.

It provides radiologists with reporting excellence through QA notifications, shortcuts and automation.

Ikonopedia is claimed to enhance patient care by tracking each finding with full resolution.

Novarad’s advanced user-friendly viewer comprises data integration, modern hanging protocols and single-click workflows. It comes with built-in safety checks to enable full viewing, artificial intelligence (AI) and easy report distribution.

It can also read other radiology studies without needing the doctor to alter seats or log into a different system, stated Novarad.

Ikonopedia CEO Emily Crane said: “The entire Ikonopedia team is excited about partnering with Novarad, who matches our commitment to core values of patient safety and physician efficiency.

“We know this collaboration will save lives, increase identification of high-risk patients and provide physicians with the best tools available.”
