OpenSynergy’s Blue SDK is described as a Bluetooth software stack that facilitates compatibility across a wide range of smartphones and operating systems, including various generations of iOS and Android devices.

Owlet noted that as Blue SDK is said to hold pre-qualification as a software component with the Bluetooth Special Interest Group, regardless of controller or application, the company was able to simplify the processes for qualification and certification.

Additionally, OpenSynergy’s Bluetooth specialists regularly assess emerging vulnerabilities and uphold compliance standards to maintain consistent security.

Owlet chief technology officer Burc Sahinoglu said: “By integrating OpenSynergy’s Blue SDK, Owlet accelerated its development timeline and achieved high-quality performance across various Bluetooth configurations.

“Working with OpenSynergy allowed us to focus on ensuring our devices provide families with a secure and simple user experience, leveraging the state-of-the-art SDK to support additional Bluetooth features in the future.”

Dream Sight, alongside Owlet’s Dream Duo and Dream Sock, is currently available through the company’s e-commerce platform and retail partners.
