The health system will deploy two primary components: AI-assisted Virtual Nursing and Telehealth, and AI-assisted Virtual Sitting.

St Luke’s will utilise the system for patient observation, care coordination, and virtual consultations, while seeking to assist medical staff confronting workforce shortages and rising operational requirements across inpatient wards.

St Luke’s Health System senior vice-president and chief information officer Reid Stephan said: “Virtual care and AI-assisted technologies are becoming essential components of modern healthcare delivery.

“This addition to care supports St Luke’s ongoing commitment to using technology in ways that help caregivers, improve patient safety and support the delivery of high-quality care across our health system.”

The hellocare.ai system combines clinical communication mechanisms, automated workflows, and remote patient monitoring into an integrated infrastructure built to expand across multi-hospital networks.

Through this framework, St Luke’s intends to reinforce patient safety measures, refine clinical workflows, and increase patient engagement during hospital stays.

hellocare.ai founder and CEO Labinot Bytyqi said: “We are honoured to support St Luke’s Health System on this important enterprise transformation initiative.

“St Luke’s continues to demonstrate leadership in innovation and patient-centred care by embracing AI-assisted technologies that support clinicians, improve operational efficiency, and create safer care environments.”

Headquartered in Clearwater, Florida, hellocare.ai provides software to more than 100 healthcare systems in the US and is expanding into international markets.

The vendor’s broader product portfolio includes Ambient Documentation, AI-Assisted Virtual Nursing, Digital Room Signage, Hospital at Home, Digital Whiteboards, Virtual Sitting, and Patient Engagement.
