The partnership with the respective healthcare system and pharmacy chain is aimed at providing access to affordable healthcare plans and creating solutions for small and medium sized businesses (SMBs) amidst soaring healthcare costs.

According to the companies, SMBs are being priced out of healthcare systems due to the yearly double-digit premium increases. Employees, it seems, often cannot afford to opt into health plans due to traditional pricing structures that make widespread adoption unattainable. Redirect Health aims to provide local and national access to a value-based cost control system. This should have the effect of reducing high out-of-pocket costs.
Redirect Health and Kroger/Smith’s will also team up to offer more affordable prices for prescriptions.
