The agreement covers six Southeast Asian countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

It allows for immediate product supply in response to purchase orders and aims to support near-term revenue prospects and regional business growth.

Under the agreement, Virax Biolabs will provide ImmuneSelect products, which include ELISpot assay plates used to measure cellular immune responses, to Fosun Diagnostics based on structured, volume-based pricing tiers.

The collaboration initially focuses on tuberculosis-related research applications in Thailand, where Fosun has identified immediate customer interest and begun evaluation activities through Fosun Pharma’s regional network.

This rollout could later extend across other countries in the region.

The deal provides a framework for phased expansion that may include additional products, larger-scale supply, and potential original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or private-label arrangements.

The exclusivity of the agreement is related to minimum purchase and performance criteria.

Virax Biolabs chairman and CEO James Foster said: “This agreement represents a major step forward in the commercial rollout of our ImmuneSelect platform across Southeast Asia.

“It establishes a structured multi-country framework with one of Asia’s leading diagnostics groups, enabling immediate commercial activity and a clear pathway for scalable regional expansion.”

Fosun MedTech China domestic business international commercial head Leon Zhang said: “We are pleased to collaborate with Virax Biolabs as we evaluate ELISpot-based research applications across Southeast Asia.

“Virax’s ImmuneSelect ELISpot platform provides a strong option for our evaluation activities, and we look forward to assessing its performance across multiple regional markets.”

ImmuneSelect is distinct from ViraxImmune, Virax’s separate diagnostic platform that remains under development.
